 《批评理论》致力于打通文化批评、文学批评、艺术批评、审美批评之间的隔阂与界限，形成以“批评理论”为中心的知识网络;通过最新中西理论的相互译介与深入研究，推动中西理论的双向交流与汇通，进而构建当代中国理论的话语体系，加强当代中国学术的海外传播，扩大当代中国思想的全球影响力。

 The publication purpose of Journal of Critical Theory is to break through the barriers and boundaries in the field of cultural, literary, art and aesthetic criti- cism and to build a knowledge network centered around “Critical Theory”.It works on boosting the intercommunication between Chinese and Western lit- erary and arts theory by the latest research and translation about this issue, in order to construct the discourse system of contemporary Chinese theory, to strengthen the overseas communication of contemporary Chinese scholarship, and enlarge the global influence of contemporary Chinese academic ideology.
